What is conventional industry?

Construction tolerances are acceptable to conventional industry tolerances except when ranges have specific minimum and maximum end points. It’s doesn’t say published industry tolerances, it says conventional industry tolerances. There are many different types of tolerances in construction including best practices, technical standards, reasonable accommodations and acceptable measurements, etc. This video reviews how those tolerances apply in design and new construction.
