Conducting a Sexual Harassment Investigation

The courts don’t expect employers to have a crystal ball that tells them when a particular action may take place and what has to be done to prevent it. What the law says is the employers must have reasonable policies in place, but more importantly, if the inevitable happens and there is a complaint then a thorough and prompt investigation must be conducted. This video reviews the need for an investigation and what constitutes a complaint; as well as discusses 10 steps to an effective investigation.
