HIPAA Compliance for Nursing Professionals

Gain a better understanding of HIPAA regulations and how it directly affects nursing professionals.

It is important for health care providers to understand the scope of their responsibility to protect patient information. Unfortunately, there is significant misinformation and misconception regarding HIPAA and the HIPAA Privacy Rule. This topic helps providers understand the requirements under HIPAA and how best to meet them. In addition, this material will help identify risk areas and prepare for an inevitable breach. With these tools in place, providers can concentrate on patient care with the confidence that they have taken the necessary steps to protect patient privacy.
