Bennett R. Blachar is an associate in the Miami office of Arnstein & Lehr LLP. Prior to joining Arnstein & Lehr full-time, Mr. Blachar served as a firm summer associate in 2015, where he gained experience drafting and filing a variety of motions and pleadings. He also held positions as a legal extern for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and as a summer intern at the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida under Judge Robert N. Scola, Jr. Mr. Blachar graduated magna cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law in 2016, making multiple Dean’s Lists and earning the Dean’s Achievement Award in Legal Communications and Research. He was also a Miami Scholar, was involved as Executive Editor for the Inter-American Law Review, and was a Student Attorney for the Immigration Clinic, where he successfully defended a Jamaican citizen in his Convention Against Torture hearing at the Krome Immigration Court.
