This live audio conference will provide an overview of the design and construction requirements of the Fair Housing Act. We will focus on specific building types that are required to comply, safe harbors and practical application of the design and construction requirements.
The presenters have worked with residential builders across the country providing plan and construction reviews. In addition they have been providing technical training for HUD's Fair Housing First program.
At the end of this program you will be able to describe key components of the Fair Housing Act design and construction requirements, discuss provisions unique to the FHA and review how this regulation impacts builders, architects and civil engineers.

- Received the Barrier-Free America Award from the Paralyzed Veterans of America for his architectural work on the Access Living headquarters in Chicago
