    MCLE Requirement:

    15 hours per reporting period (1 year)
    Deadline: December 31st

    Special Requirement(s):
    3 hours of Legal Ethics

    Reporting date:
    March 1st

    Credit hour:
    60 minutes. Divide the total length of the program in minutes by 60 and round to the nearest 100th.

    Limit on credit hours for self-study:

    There are no longer limitations on distance-learning continuing legal education (“CLE”) credits for TN attorneys. You can now obtain all of your CLE credits in TN by completing Lormans live webinars, or ondemand courses.

    Lorman Education Services Certificates:
    Certificates of attendance for Live webinars are available to download in the Courses section of your account dashboard within a couple business days after the course date. An email is sent to notify you that the certificate is available to download. Ondemand certificates are available to download in the Courses section of your account dashboard within 15 minutes.

    Attendance Reporting:
    Lorman Education Services will report your attendance for live webinars and ondemand courses as long as you have requested credit and provided your bar number. Both our live webinars and ondemand courses are distance learning and fall under the 8 hour max allowed by TN to obtain CLE.
