What Are Missouri’s CPE Requirements?
Missouri’s most recent CPE requirements came into effect on Jan 1, 2012. The new rules established by the state’s Board of Accountancy dictate that all registered CPAs must complete 120 credit hours of training every three-year renewal period. Of these, 6.0 must be in a topic related to professional ethics.
The Missouri Board of Accountancy does not independently approve CPE providers. Instead, credit can be earned through any program that meets National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (nasba-group-internet-based) and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) guidelines.
